It has been a very very very long time since I’ve updated the website, but with 2016 now here, I am going to try and update this site and post more blogs and updates as the year goes on.
But lets get to the meat of what is going on now with Swords & Chains Records; 2 brand new releases and a repress of Skelator – King of Fear! Skelator sold out in October 2015, only 11 months after officially being released, so we did the natural thing, pressed another 500 copies. That will be available by the end of February, so keep your eyes peeled for it!
We will also being releasing the debut demo from a new USA heavy metal band, Old Wolf. They hail from Kentucky, USA and bring great traditional metal sounds and remind me of Twisted Tower Dire every time I listen. As usual, this will be limited to 100 hand-numbered copies, 50 on red and 50 on black. Coming your way on March 15, 2016.
AND THE BIGGEST NEWS OF ALL….
Swords & Chains Records has signed Midnight Chaser and we will be releasing their sophomore album Lion’s Choice on cd!
Originally a digital only release via their Bandcamp in June 2014, we have been wanting a cd version ever since. Well it’s finally here for me, and for all of you fans that have clamored for it as well. It will come with a SPECTACULAR full color booklet inside a jewel case. 6 brand new songs and 2 covers. It is currently at the pressing plant and will be hitting the street on March 15, 2016. Look for a pre-order with a special price at the beginning of March.
